ENTREPRENEUR AND ACTRESS RAIN PRYOR KEYNOTES GALA IN RECOGNITION OF WOMEN'S HISTORY MONTH HONORING TRAILBLAZERS FOR IMPACT IN BUSINESS AND INNOVATION  

Baltimore, Maryland – March 2, 2020, JMD Entertainment and Media Group hosts 7th annual Red Carpet Gala “Celebrate. Collaborate. Elevate.” in recognition of Women's History Month and for honoring trailblazers making impact in the areas of entrepreneurship, business and innovation. The event also supports awareness for autism through the Pathfinders for Autism organization, and will take place at the Hilton BWI, 1739 Nursery Road, Linthicum, Maryland on March 21, 2020, from 4 to 7p.m.

Prior to the start of the Gala is a networking social at 9:30a.m., workshops at 10a.m. and a cocktail reception at 3p.m. Activities include performers, awards, celebrity cameo appearances and a vendor showcase. Entrepreneur, Actress and Writer Rain Pryor will keynote as well as Montez King, Executive Director of the National Institute of Metalworking Skills. Author and Celebrity Mom Andria Mayberry, an advocate for Attention Deficient Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), will conduct a mental health and wellness panel. A financial panel entitled ‘Access to Capital’ is being presented by M & T Bank along with a community of financial experts, as well as a forum on ‘How to Buy and Sell a Business.’

 

Host, Janice McLean DeLoatch stated that “I’m excited to recognize several business owners for the work and accomplishments that each of them are making in their industry. I believe it's important to bring together entrepreneurs for business start-up and expansion information, mentoring, certification awareness and certainly for funding resources. Adding the learning platform as a new component of the annual event is a necessity.” Award Honorees being recognized this year from a diverse mix of industry’s include:
